Flux Creative Consulting develops community-driven impact solutions for corporate, governmental, and non-profit clients. Founded in 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic and a nation grappling with centuries of injustice, Flux presents a path forward for companies and organizations searching for authentic results. Co-owned by Jonathan Whitney and Eliza Jarvis, Flux is the culmination of decades of experience working in communities as connectors, presenters, and artists. Flux delivers holistic and stress-free programming design, consultation, and a variety of support services such as in-house live streaming that can broaden and support your team. Based out of Wilmington, Delaware, Flux serves regional and national clients.

OUR TEAM

  • Eliza Jarvis

    CO-FOUNDER

    With over thirteen years of experience in non-profits Eliza specializes in community programming, professional writing, event management, and building partnerships. Most recently Eliza was the Manager of Youth Programming and Creative Partnerships at the Delaware Art Museum where she oversaw large-scale event development and managed Teaching Artist contracts for the Museum's school and community partnerships. Eliza holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wittenberg University and a Master of Arts in English from the University of Dayton in Ohio. She has experience writing marketing copy, teaching in higher education, working alongside state agencies, and programming for a wide variety of audiences. Prior to moving to Delaware in 2014, Eliza lived in Springfield, OH where she worked with youth in Juvenile Detention and assisted in the management of several public art projects such as murals, sculptures, and artist residencies. Regardless of professional space, the core of Eliza's work is relationship building, passion, and finding creative solutions to every problem.

    Jonathan Whitney

    CO-FOUNDER

    Jonathan has over twenty years of experience working in the arts as a performer, educator, community program designer, and presenter. Prior to founding Flux, Jonathan was the manager of Performance Programs and Community Engagement at the Delaware Art museum where he leveraged this skills as a connector to expand the Museum's community outreach while designing and building a robust performance series. He also has experience in education as a teacher and as artistic director of the Delaware Institute for Arts in Education. He has a Bachelors degree in music education with a concentration in percussion from the University of Delaware, and his Masters of music in jazz studies from the University of the Arts. As an artist, along with performing, he is an in demand composer/arranger with commissions from the Delaware Chamber Music Festival and Melomanie, and is a 2020 Delaware Division of the Arts Established Artist Fellow in jazz composition. At his core, Jonathan is a connector who has an innate ability to see how organizations or individuals can leverage their strengths for growth and impact.
